Another Journal Entry Update

Journal Entry: Wed Oct 23, 2013, 2:45 PM
Facebook l Toy Review Blog l Twitter l Website l Customs for sale l Guides l Gallery

Hey, woah, I should probably update my journal more often! Just got back from
the Nashville Comic-Con and had a blast! I'm hoping to get a booth there next
year. If that works out you all can drop by and watch me work, I'll have tables
set up where myself and others will be customizing on-site. There's not a ton
more I have to update in the Journal here other than asking you to check out
my most recent deviations to see the newest customs I've created and head
on over to my website www.jinsaotomesdangeroustoys.c… for other
goodies like guides, tutorials, and product links!

Hey jin, sorry to bother you again XD But I was hoping to get some advice on somethin' from someone more experienced than me. I've been trying to get better at painting and such, but what I keep running in to all the time is paint rub issues owo I keep painting Halo Megabloks figures, but after I tried using an acrylyc spray to seal them up after, and yet maybe it was because they didn't cure long enough, or maybe its just too damn hot outside XD But I just dont know what I'm doing wrong at this point owo and I don't know if there's really a for-sure method to preventing paint rub on figures like them.

Hmm, try some of these techniques.…

Also make sure you're not using craft paint like Apple Barrel or Folk Art from Walmart. You'll need hobby paints

Oh for sure, I've been using Citadel Paints and Golden Brand paints as well, so paint wuality is no issue, I have some testors model glue, was wondering, would that work for a glue shield? Or, what's something that wont start noticeably chipping as it gets rubbed time to time? I find Testors glue looks a bit glassy-chunked afterward.
