Jolt is a pretty neat figure after I got my hands on him. At first I thought he was just going to be a 3rd tier addition but the mold and articulation really shine! His tiny electro-whips were removed and replaced with longer, bendable ones made from wire wrapped crystal bits/fodder tips to give it the appearance of crackling blue electricity like the figure on the back of the package shows. Then Jolt was repainted as accurately as I could figure he was after looking at some blurry screenshots and the paint master figure. Did you know he has spinning Mech-Alive gears in his waist? They're behind the glass but they are there! Overall a great figure.
What you see here is possibly the greatest kitbasher I've ever seen. He's altering existing toys, making them better. Stronger. Geekier than they were before!! >
Well, now that the shameless fanboying is out of the way, I must say, Jolt looks like a charming little mold. I love the design of his head.
Now that is neat! Im still on the fence about him though. The completist in me wants to buy him so i have all the in-the-movie characters no matter how minor their roles are, but the toy collector in me just thinks he's ugly looking.
He kinda has a sort of Gundam/Anime look to him (especially his head and chest area.) Overall a pretty cool character and a neat figure made better by you.
