Another Wolverine, this time with flexible masktips and bootcuffs. I experimented with cutting out patterns in the clear Vinyl I use for capes and applied it to making flexible costume parts. It worked pretty well and now you don't have to worry about dropping the figure and having anything scuff or break off. With a little heat from a hairdryer you can curve or straighten them out as much as you want. The claws were of course made from the sail needles that come one in a pack of WalMarts home repair needle sets (so you have to buy 6 packs at about $2 each). Wolvie's base body is that of the Face Off Wolverine with shortened thighs and arms to give him the stockier look of the MvC2 sprite.
Great stuff! I finally found those needles. Luckily there were 6 packs there so I cleaned them out. BTW, I'm trying to sell that arcade machine now to make more room (that, and my room mate is moving out, so funds are needed).
You remember that MvC2 arcade machine I have? Well, I'm letting it go for the right price, at least get back what I ended up spending on it. Don't know if you're interested or not. I already gave Kyle a crack at it, but as much as he wanted it, he just said he couldn't at this time.
