Staying with the Kenner Predator theme I cooked up a custom Clan Leader Predator this week! I love those old nostalgic designs, as goofy as they were. Here I used a mix of current NECA Predator body with movie Predators Tracker arms, gave him some Spawn Interlink/LotR armor, then added Doc Ock tentacles for the 'whipping dreadlocks' and Bakugun feet sections for his 'Power Boots'. Both accessories can be removed for a regular Predator look but if you like the old action features then they will take you back! A nice metallic gloss emerald paint job was given to his armor and his skin done in a bloodstone/dark orange mix. Toss in a custom spear and Clan Leader Predator was ready to show off his new hairstyle!

Hi Jin, does the boil and pop method apply for the joints of Neca preds ( shoulders and waist specifically)? the plastics look durable tough, unlike the rubbery plastics normally used in other action figures. i plan on doing a pred mash-up as well but i cant seem to find info on the net confirming this. i only have limited supply so i need to make good at first try. thanks in advance.

Yep. Tho use a hair dryer, don't use boiling water as it can warp the different types of plastic they use and curl rubber sections. Make sure you pull the waist plug/ball joint straight down! If you bend it to the side it can break. The shoulders come out really easy once the main body is warm

I do hope NECA does an entire kenner based line beyond the first three preds.... i'd love to see them do the old kenner aliens... poppa needs a new Gorilla Alien in NECA style.
