Custom Bone Collector NECA Predator figure by Jin-Saotome Custom Bone Collector NECA Predator figure by Jin-Saotome
I've wanted to do more unique custom Predators and found some NECA ones on sale at Essex bargain Hunt as well as local comic shops. Using any Predator as the base, the blue-skilled Lost Tribe one here, I affixed various fodder Spawn armor (Raven Spawn and some bone-armor one) for the Bone Collector's armor. Straps, a new waist/chest piece were added, and spikes from a Preadators Hound were added on to the mask to make it look bone-crafted. Now this is one spikey Predator that takes his trophies with him on the hunt!

Now, this one's really cool.

If the mask is made of bone, does it have functioning technology?

Um...Calcium Tech! Heh, it's just a covering for the real mask I guess. A predator obsessed with putting bone on everything.

unless all the hands are molded like that for the predator action figures, i think i am staring at this very predator from across the room right now, is he maskless?

There's only 3 types of Pred hands so yeah, they're repainted throughout the line. This one originally came with a helmeted head.

I want to tell you something from personal experience. For the 1st Alien vs Predator movie I dressed up as the Predator. I tried to recreate the entire costume from looking at an action figure kind of similar to yours. I had spray painted cardboard for the armor and even real netting.

Okay now let me get to my point. Predator is supposed to be all stealth like right? Well his costume may look all cool and everything, but from my personal experience I can say that his costume would never work in real life.

That netting that I wore got caught up on almost everything. Go ahead and wear some netting and then try and climb a tree. Your netting will get caught on every piece of bark or twig that it can get caught up on.

Anyways nice figure, but kind of like what I said in real life all of those spikes will get caught up on something.

I thought the same thing! And with ninja characters that had netting all over them. How's that work? You'd get leaves and stuff.
