Custom John Byrne Cyclops Action Figureby *Jin-Saotome

The X-men's leader Cyclops has gone through many costume changes but the one from John Byrne's series is a fan favorite. This custom Marvel Legends Cyclops was made from a ML Bucky Cap with modded US Agent head (or you can use all US Agent and skip sculpting the cuffs) with sculpted belt and glove cuffs. His Optic Blasts were made from different kinds of clear acrylic plastic, the best one I've found coming from the neon clip boards found at walmart. The edges glow as light is filtered through the piece and even makes the inside of his visor light up! The inside strip of the visor comes out to reveal a hole which you peg the beams into, three different ones in all.

What a genius idea , do you think could use this idea for a marvel universe custom of cyclops and how did you cut the clipboard so clean. Thanks for any help.

I used a Tamiya Plastic Scriber II to cut the grooves then sanded the edges and ran a paper towel dipped with Acetone down them after that to 'knock down' the fuzzy plastic and turn it back to shiny.
