Machine Head [link] needed an adversary so I present to you Grimwing, vile scourge of the skies and herald to Hellvore the Armed. Original character built from a Marvel Legends base body with parts and pieces of other figures. More pictures to come!

They're in my Painting Guides on my site, www.jincustom.com
I mainly uses Formula P3 by Privateer press, Testors Model Master Acryl, and some clear Tamiya. Only Games Workshop paints I use are metallics and I have to seal those :/

well, your amazing dude.. i first heard about you on /toy/ but i seen some people talking smack (dont they always?) so i came to see your stuff and i gotta say your the best i have ever seen when it comes to customs.. the only reason i dont jump into customs is the problem getting paint to stick to the figure like i want it too, like factory sticking you know? but i think i have found a way to get the paint to stay on for good.. well a few ways actually. im going to try them out in the next week or two and if they work ill send you pictures and in depth details of how i got it to work.. i figure if you have success with the methods too we might save ALOT of people heartbreak from their custom transformers toys paint scraping off even a little bit :D

but once again amazing work dude, now just make us a steam-punk batman! LOL

Heya! That Tamiya Lacquer [For Plastics] is the closest thing we have to factory paints. But there is this special primer call Bulldog Adhesion Promoter that I use often. It's for automotive stuff and pretty smelly (use an organic vapors mask then spraying) but man, anything sticks to it and like the Tamiya you can use it on Marvel legends style pvc. Just not soft rubber.
