Artist's Comments

Here's my take on the 'battle damaged' Iron Man after he gets shot out of the sky by the tank. He has his little rocket-launcher that can be attached to his arm too. I used a Prototype armor movie Iron Man figure for this figure and cracked him open, installing a really small LED system in his torso. It has a center sphere and inner ring glow when you have the chestplate off and then spreads out to a full glow when you pop the chest on! Also there's a dedicated on/off switch. I scuffed him up something terrible and gave him dust/splatter effects. Enjoy!

Oh holy DAMN, this is awesome. I dare say this looks production-level quality, here. Like I would see a row of them packaged and on pegs at the local Wal-Mart or something.

Dude, I am dead-serious on this, you really oughta consider making a portfolio of your customizing work and asking Hasbro or one of the other toy manufacturers for a job with them as a creative designer.

You are AMAZING, especially for the simple things you use to add little tweaks and effects, like the LED you used for this toy's light-up gimmick, which probably didn't cost you more than a trip to the dollar-store for some dinky little light-up keychain or something to recycle.

My entire site is my portfolio really. I do have a binder with all my high res pics that I tote around to the SDCC. The guys from Hasbro requested to see it last year and Zach Oats was looking through it with them for a while. They know who I am at least, heh.

first, excellent work, as to be expected.
next; question, master of masters. how's the removable helmet? does it make his head all big and wonky compared to the regular mkIII?
