Sideswipe was pretty impressive at the beginning of the Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen movie with all his street-skating locomotion. I wanted to recreate the detachable blades but the ones he come with are really just the sides of the car doors and aren't really accurate. So with a bit of styrene sheeting I constructed new slip-on wrist blades for him. I also removed the foot covers and glued them on to the front of the car permanently and added various hoses and sculpt to make him look more detailed. One battle-ready paint job later and Sideswipe looks as if he's been cutting up Decepticons all day long!

Great, all you need to do is tilt the heel-spurs down since the front of the bumper has been removed from the foot. Works great!

i loved Sideswipe at the beginning of ROtF he looked so awesome, both in robot and vehicle mode... say, what type of car was he?
