Sideswipe was pretty impressive at the beginning of the Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen movie with all his street-skating locomotion. I wanted to recreate the detachable blades but the ones he come with are really just the sides of the car doors and aren't really accurate. So with a bit of styrene sheeting I constructed new slip-on wrist blades for him. I also removed the foot covers and glued them on to the front of the car permanently and added various hoses and sculpt to make him look more detailed. One battle-ready paint job later and Sideswipe looks as if he's been cutting up Decepticons all day long!

I HAVE TO DO THIS TO MY SIDESWIPE!!!

I wish i could find my customs but i lost them when we moved house :(
i cut my sideways in half and glued the peices so Sides could actually slice Sideways in half, and i repainted TF1 Megs so he is the RIGHT colours!

Damn! He is GOOD! :XD: sorry!

This is very cool, one thing i notice is that most people who customize the bots do so-make them look stuning, but they can't transform-though they still have the mobility. How'd you manage that???

And what modle Sideswipe is this? I was looking though them but couldn't see one I really liked enough to hunt down.
