The Fallen is one terrible baddie of Transformers lore and to see him on the big screen was certainly a treat! He had a great scene where he raised his staff and levitated the army vehicles only to slam them back down. However the toy didn't come with the staff and I figured I should take a crack at making one. The Fallen himself was modified with a longer ball jointed neck, light up eyes with a battery pack, and new hands. The staff was made from parts and a styrene rod. Lemme tell you it took a long time to paint all those little orange lines on the Fallen too!

He no longer transforms into the 'Cybertronian Destroyer' either. The Fallen didn't have an alt mode in the movie and I removed those pieces to resculpt sections so he'd look more accurate to the on screen character this way. Trust me, the alt mode was nothing special.

great custom and paintjob man.
tbh, i had no clue who the fallen was. i didnt recollect it with the cartoon, which i havent watched in probably 15 years or more. I did a little researching, and is it true he is only mentioned within the comics storyline?

Anyway, here is hoping for unicron in the next TF film, as I thought thats who they might have been referring too for this fallen character. Just want the old TF: animated movie...done with shiny CG graphics please. :)

One wonders why you haven't been asked to work for Takara.
If their products were this good, they'd make a killing.

Apparently it's considered wrong to set moronic and stupid people on fire.
Whoops

the movie was great and so was the fallen, but i didn't really feel like he was as high and mighty as he was portrayed as. very good props on the staff

if practice makes perfect
but no one is perfect
then why practice?

I think you removed too much. The Fallen had these under-arm support things that stretched from just above his pelvis and acted like tendons... didn't you notice those?

hah, pretty cool!

i don't know if this would help you with action figures, but my Tau Stealthsuits *from 40K* have little cracks/recesses all over them in their design, and so i decided to fill them in. what i did, was i used a bright blue, and basically plastered it all over the cracks to make sure it got in, and then i got my paint brush with gray on it, and just lightly painted on it, with little pressure on the brush, so that it would glide over the cracks, and they would still retain the light blue.

Then i just dry brushed other colors over them, for a kind of camo effect. What i want to do next is dry brush some green that we use for bases on their legs, and put some flock on the bases, and some more on their legs, like they're blending in.

Very nice job on him.

fav'd

I'm sorry, but it seems I have purposely misplaced my sword in your stomach.
