The Iron Buster by Jin-Saotome The Iron Buster by Jin-Saotome
Here's my comic version of Iron Man done in metallics as requested. Since I didn't want to do a straight duplicate I mixed it up a little by adding articulated armor from the new Manga Spawn figure. Head is a cast of the Marvel Crossovers TF Iron Man figure courtesy of Kyle Robinson! You can check out his casting shop and buy this head here: [link] and other heads/accessories for your customizing needs. Iron Man's armor is actually articulated! The shoulderpads raise up and swivel around on ball-joints and the gauntlets attach via magnets. There ya go, an instant-armored Iron Man!

I'm doing something similar.. I bought a manga spawn for like 10$ mainly because I've seen this custom before and Liked the outcome. I cut the robots head off and took some sculpy clay and created an attatchment point for Iron Man's head. I used a Tony stark head from the iron man movie figures, filled the head with clay to make a peg for the head to sit on, sculpted it onto the body and the rest is just paint...

I like that take on the classic armour. Looks really realistic and just the right amount of retro. The bulky gauntlets and shoulders look fantastic.

Do you mind if I draw this sometime? It just look really great.

That is some seriously wicked design. It combines elements from classic Iron Man and some of the newer suits. I love the artillery there. So he's "Iron Buster", does that mean the suit's designed to take out other Iron Men?

Hmmm! That's a good take on a new idea. An Iron Man Buster suit!

It's actually an idea I got a while back when I read Iron Wars. I know his suit was equipped to deal with any other suit that had Stark tech, but what if people started using actual Iron Man suits? He'd need to design a suit that combated his very own designs.

Always good to have a contingency plan.
