Description
Years ago I made a Virindi mask, you can find it back in my gallery: [link] Well it was time for a new one and man.. did I ever put some work into it. The mask started out as a basic metallic skull mask bought at Rite Aid.
Resculpted from above the eyes down with Apoxie sculpt
Hollowed out the inside to lighten it
Carved 'tears' slots for breathing/speaking, covered them with black fabric
Used the lenses from sunglasses for eyes
Installed LEDs behind the lenses that activate with a jaw-sensor
Airbrushed and weathered, then sealed
Lemme tell ya, it was a lot of work. So where's the rest of the outfit? Just wait and see......
