Artist's Comments

The mask of a Virindi from the MMORPG 'Asheron's Call'. Made from Super Sculpy. The next one I make will be made from Apoxie Sculpt tho. Currently sitting in the head office of Turbine Inc. I gave it to them as a gift for letting my girlfriend and I playtest Asheron's Call, Throne of Destiny. We're even listed in the credits in the back of the manual, woot!

I need to sculpt a better one and then get someone who can cast them via vacu-form or resin. Gotta be lightweight enough to wear and Apoxie Sculpt might be a tad too heavy.

I made a Taskmaster merc mask from his mini series after being inspired by this.
The problem is I couldnt get the LED's to work right.
I would tape them the wires to a 9Volt battery and they would pop.

!!! Wow, you were so running the risk of setting fire to your mask too. A 9-volt is WAY too powerful. You should use a couple watch batteries, maybe one AA battery if you have two LED's of decent size. Want the perfect setup? Snag some 'Glow worm gummy candy' with 'magic tongs' at your local Rite Aid. They come with a nearly perfect self-contained LED system with a pressure switch.

omg you should make a "jack of blades" mask from Fable :lost chapters. you could really make it look awesome.
